This adventure was all about the food but the road trip was a great time as I travelled with family on this ride into the small town of Leona Texas for steak.

After several adventures in the car we were ready to eat. As were many others. This place is so good the line was significant when we arrived before opening the doors at 5:30. The fact they are open only Friday,Saturday and Sunday keeps the masses hungry.

There is plenty of free road side parking though it may involve a short walk.

The old country store vibe is alive and thriving with plenty of charm that is only surpassed by the staff.

Our hostess Georgia made us feel at home and shortened the wait with her friendly warm personality. And she was not to be outdone by our server whose wit and humor made the evening feel as though we were more at home than in an eatery.

Fresh cut steak not scaled with generous portions. From block to the gtill.

This third generation steakhouse is thriving where the steaks are cut fresh, grilled and served.

Deserts options are amazing so be sure to leave room.

We truly made a few acquaintances on this evening adventure.

The facility is accessible however some areas may be challenging to navigate.

While in the one traffic light town you might want to check out the Soda shop next door, if you have room. As the deserts here are amazing as well.
