On the main street in the quaint town of Helotes, TX one can enjoy a good cup of coffee and tasty treats from the on-site bakery. The coffee is good and the treats are large in portion and have amazing flavor.
It’s a great place to gather with friends as both the interior and exterior are quint and comfortable. They are open to serve from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and it is uncommon to not be greeted upon arrival. The veteran-owned company is a regular haunt once you make your first stop here.



Whether one sits around the fire pit out front, on the patio, out back under the light-covered trees, or in a nook inside one can relax with a friend or companion and enjoy the old-town atmosphere of Helotes. (Helotes means corncob in Spanish).
Situated on the curve of the roundabout in town, one can sit at the front of the building and enjoy the varied lights on the cowboy statue in the center of the roundabout.
Above the coffee shop is a Bed and Breakfast if you are looking for a spot to stay in town.

In town, one will find a variety of antique shops, including John T. Floores Country Store, well known for top-notch entertainment over the years.
There are also great walking and cycling trails in the area as well which makes this town a fun and diverse stop.
And in case, you are unsure of which way you want to go next there are signs to ensure you get started in the right direction.
Helotes is also known for its corn festival and Highland games and is worthy of investing for family fun.
These are old buildings in this town, many are not handicap friendly so I recommend doing your homework before planning your excursion to town.
